Job Description
Job Title: S4 HANA FI Implementation Consultant
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)

Duties:
  • Gain a complete understanding of each workstream in Global Accounting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of General Ledger, International Accounting, and Fixed Asset.
  • Act as a key contributor to S4 HANA implementation, including strong leadership in:
  • General Ledger
  • Document Splitting
  • Data Migration
  • International Accounting
  • Fixed Assets
  • Create, document, and ensure business requirements​ are met during delivery​.
  • Good understanding of how each workstream interconnects and consider the holistic impact on the entire system.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure business requirements are translated to detailed functional requirements for the design and delivery of functionality. ​
  • Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing and assist in the resolution of any functional issues.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during data migration, performing reconciliations and validation.
  • Provide oversight of project deliverables; maintain implementation progress.
  • Supervise project team members.
  • Be the bridge between business users and IT.
Skills:
  • 15+ years of consulting experience in SAP implementation; focus on General Ledger, Document Splitting, Fixed Asset and International Accounting.
  • Demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Experienced knowledge of accounting policies, SOX controls, and financial statement preparation.
  • Familiar with Blackline, Tableau, Power BI, Ariba and Concur is a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
